MA work

MA work

For many of today’s working people, travel has become part of everyday life. But travel preparation, namely, packing and unpacking, has not evolved accordingly. The mundane process of things stuffing in and bursting out of suitcases represents a missed opportunity for design.

Meet Orishiki: not just a product, but a system that redefines trip preparation by integrating travel with home life and vice versa. Orishiki is a sculptural object that transforms from a piece of interior architecture into a carrying case through a fun process of folding and unfolding.
