The sculptures are a conversation between complexity and simplicity, the ordered and the
disordered, the natural and the artificial, the controlled and uncontrolled.
The precise observation of the environment, rhythms, structures and movements forms
the visual language of the work, with the attempt to push the limits.

Monika Müller works with different materials, such as ceramics, glass, metal or paper, constantly pushing it to its limits. The experimentation is an essential part of her making process. Through the experiment, she explores materials and gains knowledge and understanding in order to manipulate it and take it to its limits.
