Interpreting heirlooms through light to create new artefacts.
In an uncertain moment of nostalgia, flickers of a single candle pick out highlights from the relief on ornate furniture and fittings. Objects are reduced to a spectacular essence of their former self, recalling the origins of adornment when sparks flashed from flints struck under the stars.
Pieces are developed using photography, video, a range of digital 3D processes and traditional jewellery techniques.
