STEM SQUAD : CHILDREN’S LEARNING
IN THE AGE OF TECHNOLOGY

STEM SQUAD helps to facilitate real world experience to the parents and primary school children through fun online and offline workshops with innovative brands partners.

With the advancement of technology, our children’s future of work is looking more and more uncertain. Yet, the current primary school system has little interventions of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to inspire and prepare for the fourth industrial revolution. Furthermore, parents who have little STEM knowledge often find it difficult to guide their children.

STEM SQUAD is designed to empower both parents and children to learn STEM by igniting their intelligence curiosity through familiar brands partners such as Samsung and TfL. This creates better learning relevancy to children and parents by using hands-on workshops, brand-driven educational content and live interaction with brand’s experts. By building science capitals among parents and children help to build a better foundation and interests in STEM.

    MA Service Design, 2017

  • As a Senior UX designer in Samsung Electronics, my creative process focuses on transformation of strategic vision into reality and enhancing user satisfaction through meaningful innovative experience. Throughout my studies of Service Design at RCA, I thrive to have in-depth understanding of all stakeholders' actions, emotion and, behaviour through the complicated system landscape to create experiments validating the design hypothesis. I strongly believe my this constant iteration of my design process help to create many successful ideas that relates back to the users.

In addition, I strongly believe great design is often integration of effective strategy and meticulous design execution where every single component matters to the success of it.
