Ghosts in the Web

Ghosts in the web is an immersive installation inspired by series of storytelling workshops with participants from Recovery Connections rehab centre. The artist recorded last days of workshops and combined visual and sound recordings to create a journey that both participants and artist went through during the six months collaboration. Even though the result is clearly expressed through the artist’s perspective, its main goal has been to involve people going through recovery as well as to fight the stigma towards addiction which is strongly embedded in our society. The experience is meant to amplify the voices of specific individuals who share their struggles, pain and hope to be free from the web of addiction.
