Textile recipes
My final project is a process-led textile exploration dealing with colour, textures, and tactility through layering materials.
As my work method, I'm using a ruled-based practice, that I call Textile Recipes. Referring the design process to the process of cooking. The rules of making are set beforehand like a recipe, using the materials as the ’ingredients’ and the making process as the ’cooking’.
The project focuses on colour mixing in material, showing how the texture and form change the colours and how the same materials, through different technical processes, can create different textures and colours.
My project aims to give an understanding of the difference of colour appearance in 3-dimensional forms and textures and to create tactile textiles.

My practice focus on colour, material, textures, and tactility. I'm driven by the process of making and experiments, pushing and challenging the limitations and possibilities of materials and techniques to create new textile combinations and textures.
