Melissa Chen is a Canadian painter and filmmaker. She immigrated to British Columbia, Canada at the age of two. Melissa attended the Royal College of Art completing an MA in Painting. Prior to studying at the RCA she completed a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), with studies in painting, drawing, filmmaking, printmaking, shoe design, and foundry.
