Recording, erasing, reconfiguration are all part of the strategy that I apply to the creation of an image.
My work explores notions of traces and preservation within urban environments with a particular attention to the relation that people have to their architectural surroundings. Photographs are always used as the starting point of my investigation. I manipulate them by removing data from the primary pictorial context, filtering information and recombining elements in order to create and reveal a different reading of the initial picture.
