I aim to make beautiful objects to be worn on the head; I design through making.
I am looking at the unveiled bride and her transition from one state another – the ritual transformation. I am investigating institutional misrepresentation and our recognition of the darkness in all our realities.
The pristine moment of disengagement after the knife is removed.
The knowing gaze of a child in the moment of transition.
The shadow life, the disappeared.
