Deconstructing the pearl necklace
The pearl necklace is one of the most classic items of jewellery, with connotations ranging from royal grandeur to petit bourgeois conventionality.
It therefore becomes very tempting to tamper with it, to deconstruct it and reconstruct it, in an attempt to rediscover what makes it so splendid.
This collection is composed of a series of necklaces which follow each other through an investigation of form, and look into the properties of the pearl as a material.
