ADS3: Tribes
The Freeconomists are a real worldwide social network of people who are active survivors in the midst of the economic downturn. This tribe questions our current way of life in society today, and pushes the boundaries of this grassroots approach to trade in the current recession driven economic context. They exchange skills, tools and even their time as the foundation of an alternative economy – one whereby no money exchanges. Through bartering and exchange, the Freeconomists rebuild a sense of community in the neglected area of Dalston.
