Stool, Rope, Ladder
'Stool, Ladder, Rope', is an extension of several live performance works that deal with notions of labour. Labour is often used as a tool in the work to reach a point in which the final actions can thrive. The labour is normally downplayed and undermined through anticlimactic and dissatisfying outcomes.Â
This piece of work highlights and compiles these selected outcomes to find a platform outside of a live preformative context, instead inserting itself into some mode of a uniformed loop.

Often through various modes of physical labour, the artist works towards a final action, or ‘meeting point'.
These meeting points consist of dead-end exchanges which are often anticlimactic yet inevitable, carrying intended complications, often utilising rigged set-ups and primitive contraptions.
