MA work

MA work

I think my work provides a glimpse into another world, not too dissimilar from our own, where imagined and half-remembered characters and scenarios are created, primarily through drawing and printmaking, in an attempt to communicate something about the society in which we live today.

There are various themes that regularly surface in my work, such as melancholy, boredom, loneliness, depression, progress, uncertainty and redemption or lack thereof. I'm interested in the idea of a meritocracy with its inherent inequality and the space between desire/will and what actually happens in reality.
