A Different Viewpoint on Ordinary Life, Marta Bakowski

The process of filming is often more fascinating to me than the movie itself. New filming opportunities have been brought by new generations of video devices that can travel and access virtually anywhere, thanks to their lightweight and small size.

With the camera tools I designed for each specific situation, I have been exploring the camera’s journey between documentary and cinematography, observing how something as banal as the everyday life of a human being can become an interesting scene when looked at from a different perspective.
