Care to Exchange (It)

Could the City of London buy into a social and ecological solution to reverse generations of bad habits? During the week Bank Station receives 312,315 passengers, at the weekend only 16,472. Taking advantage of this weekend urban exodus, Care to Exchange (It) has given City workers the opportunity to own a fraction of a second home in the city. It provides them with Monday to Friday luxury apartments, on condition that they make available their second home to carers for weekend respite. Carers’ contribution to UK society is worth £57 billion each year, the equivalent of a second NHS (Carers London).
