MA work

Intangible Oscillations

Life is a continuous process of trying to understand how to deal with our limits in order to find a guideline, a support, a rhythm of life. But what is this rhythm? And what if this rhythm is both our strength and weakness?

In approaching this theme, my work focuses on bodily expressions as a tool for seeking this rhythm. Particularly dance and sexuality, which are a primitive neccesity and inspire pleasure and elation, but also tension, doubt and risk. These external expressions are where the subconcious can be explored and exposed. To materialise those sensations and feelings, I invite a dialogue between juxtaposed materials and also between the object and the body itself. My interest being not in the entity as such but in the in ‘between’ – the intangible space of oscillations.
