Graduation Coat
My final project is an experiment into non-linear narratives and the language of visual archetypes. The project is an exploration of the stages of the creative process, a dangerous journey through a mysterious land.
Graduation Coat is a self-therapy, celebration of decorativeness; a piece of workwear and a fashion object – protective armour decorated with symbols of good fortune, a diary of the process, of difficulties and scars.
Just like the piece, I locate my practice in between disciplines, art and design, interested in working with both commercial and autobiographical pieces.
