My current moving-image work is concerned with ways in which the formation of our memories and identity are connected to domestic and enclosed spaces. Through buildings that resonate with past personal signifiers, my work confronts often difficult yet universal subject matter connected to family and personal relationships. Expressed through conversations and stories, these works reflect our often impossible desire for stability.
With a background studying film and sound design, I also contribute writing to magazines and book projects and investigate ways of integrating sound, abstraction, stories and text with moving-image based works.
