Making Roti, Manisha Lad
A cultural idealist at heart, femininism is the objective of my study. With a focus on the British Asian woman of the millennium, my work is an autobiographical account of the cultural notions attached to the measurement of her success this century.
A series of interviews with family members are recorded and articulated through the genre of book design, film and photography. I am interested in the various modes of image-making and art direction.
