Cream

My current work inquires into the ways in which the symbiotic relationship between technology, culture and photography engender developments between one another. By making still and moving image assemblages, my works are interpretations of the ubiquity of digital image making processes, particularly as they relate to the trajectory of the visual language of the vernacular. In one sense, they are reflections on how the images and visions of our desires, as mediated through the screen, can enrapture the user in a voracious quest for fulfilment, through disembodied consumption and escape, into simulated virtual realms and corporeal disconnect.
