Child Care no.1, Digital Photomontage
My practice focuses on patterns and trends in popular photography; their constructive iconic influence on the build-up of our collective consciousness. By combining photomontage techniques and animation with innovative technologies, I dismantle and create visual worlds, reassembling and building new uncanny realisms. Hereby, the so-called 'photographic image' is disconnected from its standard anchors in time and space.
