Journey Into Emptiness and Fullness

Panels of raw linen hold natural pigments of indigo, charcoal, yellow and rose madder.

The Birth of Thunder was hand painted dry, folded and brought out to the sea in Cascais, Portugal. The sea danced with the pigment inside the folded linen, the panels were slowly dragged against the sand while still folded and later unfolded to hang dry in the sun.

Spring Earth: She is Born was painted wet and laid flat to dry. Rather than using the body of the sea and its movement, it was the body of the artist who danced upon the panels to invoke this volcanic energy.

Inanna for Angela is a gift for a teacher who shines with a golden brilliance while sharing her dark light.
