At The Heart Of The Crystal Expanse

Documentation of the regeneration of housing estates in Thamesmead, south east London. The project aims to preserve the voice and experience of residents affected by the demolition and redevelopment of the site in its state of transition.

In the resulting publication, the experience of the regeneration is expressed first-hand through four interviews with residents directly and indirectly affected. The interviews are encased within a science fiction narrative, which serves to expand and exaggerate the tensions and contradictions present between each active agent in the regeneration.
