The study of a person’s emotional and physical relationship to their architectural environment has provoked a myriad of creative responses during my time here. These textile sculptures are intended for gallery installation; their composition is designed to manipulate the viewer, to cause an internal reflection of the viewer’s position with regards to the pieces. The multi-layered printed planes create 3D images that shift and change depending on the position of the viewer in relation to the object. This creates a dialogue between the two that gives these sculptures an extra dimension both literally and metaphorically.
