Tacit Vibrations

This work looks at the social impact of the material of concrete in an architectural context, identifying the use and life of spaces by analysing the sound that is generated within them. This project looks at cultural, residential and public spaces made out of concrete throughout London. By collecting field sounds of the locations that is partnered with recreating architectural motifs of these spaces I intend to produce a sound piece that forms a sound map where the speaker becomes a voice of the space.
