The Witch's Mask
Mixed media paint and digital.
A man goes back to see his dying mother.
But what do you do when your mother is a murderous deity ?
The Witch’s Mask draws on Indonesian folklore, themes of fatality, and the ambivalence one can feel towards family.

Animator with a particular interest in painting, drawing and printmaking, I blend watercolour with digital 2D.
I have made narrative films, trailers for festivals, self-published comics, animated documentaries and animation for a phenakistoscope-like installation. I especially enjoy developing new art directions for each project, both my own and in collaboration.Â
Folktales, mythology and their modern renditions, such as Cocteau's Orpheus or Pasolini's Oedipus Rex, are a big source of inspiration to me.Â
