Laura McGrath

MA work

It could be that objects give existence to the nebulous parts of my life. They offer a space, a reciprocal for the frightening, the undoable, the unrepeatable. They give me a sense of solidity and quiet down my confusion, a struggle against the fleeting moments. But I experience a blank stare. I don’t see them, and they don’t see me. For the object knows no other.
