MA work

My projects are concerned with the Internet of Things: personal data, computational simulation, open data, open-source products and open-manufacturing models.

I use design as a way of inventing alternative futures, critical reflections and new ventures, through connecting imaginary ideas, real people and emerging technologies. Being interested in both the wider socio-cultural implications as well as the direct impact that new technologies have on our lives, I prototype fictional ideas until they swap properties and become real things and services. Some turn out radical and uncanny, others are playful and lovely. I am optimistic.
