Hot Sting Psych
Hot Sting Psych is an eight-look collection developed around the concept of the femme within the blue collar worker. Having spent the two years of my Master's continually focusing on workwear, and the need for durability within the garments, I tied this with aspects of my youth years and the boys around me who worked on sites as plummers, brickies etc., yo-yoing between their real identity and their working identity.Â
Balancing their on-site, macho male face in trackies and sweatshirts with their 4 o'clock finish which brings the return of their back-combed, eye-lined alter ego.Â

I practise as a menswear designer, specialising in Knitwear during my Master's at the RCA. During this two year course, I have been motivated to merge woven fabrics and knitwear, taking knit out of its traditional positioning and pursuing its use as a woven fabric by challenging its cut and construction. I also specialise in working with denim, focusing on advancing my cut to enhance durability and to carry my own signature through stitch and finishings.Â
