MA work
The Unnameable is a film collaboration between artists Kevin Gaffney (Royal College of Art) and Sally-Anne Kelly (Central Saint Martins), who have been working as a duo since 2009. The work is a hybridisation of the artists’ individual practices of performance, photography, video, writing and sculpture. The Unnameable tells the story of a boy who grows up feeding an invisible elephant in his room. His psyche splits as he attempts to imagine life without the elephant, and we follow
him through his imagination, in and out of his consciousness.
