As an American living in England I inhabit multiple places in the physical that exist as one in my consciousness.  This 'third space' or heterotopian environment that I have created for myself is alive with colours, patterns and textures.  I am inspired by the rugged coastlines of Britain and the vivid imagery that occurs in these natural landscapes.  They are foreign to me but at the same time intrinsically familiar and comforting.

Capturing these moments through photography has inspired me to experiment with materials and processes that have led to the creation of wearable jewellery pieces, textiles and objects for interiors.

My surface designs inhabit my ‘third space’ and seamlessly blend from one medium to the next, and emerge in surprising ways to create two and three dimensional objects.
