I find I design best when I have a ‘muse’ in mind. The ‘muse’ for my final collection is born from my love of electronic music and the youth culture that surrounds this scene.

  • Jewellery and accessories are a tool for signifying culture and expressing identity. This combined with the functionality of wearable objects explains why I design and make.

I do not think of my work as material-led but instead material-informed. Leather with its intrinsic qualities signifies luxury and value and precious metals will always speak worth. These qualities are something I want to bestow on my work.

My objective for the future is to launch a new and youthful luxury accessories brand for men and women. The brand will bridge the gap between the huge leather brands and artisanal craftsmanship currently occupying the market. With an emphasis on the sensory experience gained through handling, purchasing, borrowing and stealing (from friends) of luxury products, I aim to build a brand that caters to the needs and aesthetics of the young, urban female and male.
