Otherworldly bodies
This body of work explores the most magical quality of glass, transparency. Transparency of glass allows the light and colours to dance within the body of the work. Light is also seen as the ultimate material, which encourages colour variation with movement.

Kaja creates unique works of colour and light-dance inside the sensual nature of glass. She captures a softness by freezing organic movement and lines choreographed into subliminal form. And in that way, her art is allowed to remove itself from being definite, and possesses a life of its own embodying a sense of warmth and wealth of emotions that arise from the working process. The matter of utmost importance for Kaja's creative work is to alter the perception of glass as being sturdy and cold. She is constantly searching for ways to capture and convey the material in its most fundamental and the impression of fluidity. Kaja's work is tactile and welcomes interaction from the audience, inviting both familiarity and personal connection.
