re_produced

Single Channel Video, Digital Transfer of 16mm Film

're_produced’ was shot on location at the artist’s former work place in Detroit, Michigan. The work examines the hierarchy of value that distinguishes material and immaterial labor by combining 16mm film, 3D animation, and motion capture. The work dissolves the post-human divide to maintain all forms of labor valid and valuable under the false scarcity determined by the contemporary economic system of the West.
