My practice indulges in the theatricality of staging and gesture, specifically the gesture of things and the way in which the form of objects and architectural elements creates specific meanings and similarities within an environment, and in a dialogue with other objects and forms. My work draws on research formulated from the work of Rembrandt, Velasquez and Titian as well as film history and theatrical traditions.
I will be starting a PhD at The Slade, University College London in October 2014.
