Pale Dot follows two intersecting themes Being alive in 2017, an individual in the era of big data and mapping and The urban age of the Anthropocene. Using a personal heat map from 2014 - 2017 viewers are immersed into a fictional reality, exploring the surrounding area of South Kensington. The work shifts from known reference to abstract. 


The work is designed for an Oculus Rift.
