MA work
My work has been taken from the woodlands close to my home. I have created a narrative from this landscape and from drawings and mark-making, abstracting the forms to create a fabric collection.
Colour plays a big part in my work. I love all that is playful, not wanting my work to feel brooding or heavy, but to make people smile.
From these fabrics I am putting together a clothing collection for girls aged between two and eight years old.

Taking my influences from art and nature, I draw and collage to develop designs that are colourful, playful and bold. I experiment and sample mainly by screen printing, but I also design digitally. I enjoy the process of dissembling my drawings and mark-makings to reassemble them again, but differently, which often gives my work an abstract feel.
My final collection incorporates both digital and screen printed fabrics. These fabrics will be made into a clothing collection for girls aged between two and eight years old.
