Workhouse Of The Infrastructural Reformation

As unemployment and social immobility rise to unprecedented levels, is it inevitable that the government will return to Victorian models of control, while providing the placebo of the architecture of a lost empire to reassure a nervous population?

This project re-introduces the workhouse in an infrastructurally intensified Elephant and Castle.
