What menswear needs with core minimalism.

My design process is from my own experience, my point of view and emotions. It may sound like a personal idea but I think the design has to come from pure substance. I believe my parents influence my interests in architecture and music. This is because of their great passion for music and due to my father’s career in architecture. The people I visualise wearing my pieces have certain characteristics.

I want them to showcase not only confidence but also subtleness. People encountering them might have the impression they put effort into looking more than plainly decent. However, they will not be considered conceited nor vain, just mindful of their appearance and emanating their strong but quiet personality through my clothes. Taking Control, my journey for the past two years was to be able to control the whole process by myself, as photographer and installation planner/builder, in order to see how far I can go with my own inspiration and direction, and think about how to communicate with the audience in a way which could potentially make further impacts on fashion.
