Olfactory Education

Your sense of smell is more powerful than you think. Through scents you can remember instances more vividly, change your mood and even trigger physiological responses. So why have you not taken advantage of this opportunity? Others have. In the form of olfactory marketing: Smells of fresh coffee and bread wafting through a train station. The very distinct smell of clean laundry. But smells can do so much more than just trigger your need for something. It can take you back to places you grew up in and people you love. It can even effect your wellbeing. So know what you are smelling. It is the only sense you can't completely suppress.

The Olfactory Education proposes a long-term project teaching individuals the impact of smell in their daily lives. Covering the span of the next 30 years The OE plans to raise awareness, educate and normalise the active use of olfaction. #followyournOsE
