The Extended Times

The Extended Times is a design-driven investigation on the possible relations between digital immortality and graphical user interfaces that allude to perpetual progress and continuity. The project questions the meaning of those elements with which we interact on a daily basis and that potentially change the way we perceive notions such as death, end and closure.

    MA Visual Communication, 2016

  • My work explores analogies between the digital sphere and the actual world. By introducing digital interface elements in actual contexts I seek to challenge their meaning and perception. Coming from an editorial design background I tend to use traditional graphic design formats and strategies as bridges to fictional scenarios.
