MA work
The Royal College of Art was a natural progression for me after my time at Chelsea College of Art and Central Saint Matin. My time here has given me many things and nurtured my talents to give me a higher understanding of my field specialty, Print textiles.
Although, my core skills have increased with time the true growth that has come from being at the RCA is my confidence. I now believe in my work as it is part of me, and therefore present and sell myself and my work together in a professional manner. I allow the passion I have for my work to be seen by all. This passion has helped me excel in many tasks mostly my presentation technique, which in itself gained me success in an Audi project I completed in my first year. I was proud to exhibit and present my Audi work for the Audi team special event in Germany.
Following this work into my second year, I took with me a high level of professionalism and process. This process has given me a structure to be creative and develop my philosophy by allowing myself time to complete thorough research and high quality work.
I arrived in RCA an accomplished textile student. I will leave the RCA as a unique textile designer.
