As a Chinese who study in uk already 5 years really

give me a chance to look back china history and Chi

nese society in macroscopic way , understanding how

this world function ,how all these infuence me and

become myself today, the relationship between macro

scopic and microcosmic , group and individual . From

china these 100 years extreme exploration to fnd

its own way , the society full of uniformity , con

fict and contradictory . And I found out Chinese 80s

is the immature but most beautiful period .people

started to receive many things but they still have

the idealism and purity form the collective peri

od , unlike now china completely bring in capital

ism people lost their believe with desire. So this

balance really inspired me ----controllable spon

taneous happening ( not completely uniformity not

completely freedom ) which also is an ideal system

,principle , society pattern for me .So in this col

lection I really experiment this idea and aesthetic

through create a fake Chinese 80s image . I creat

-

ed these new uniform as a garment system with lots

of components and I provide principles ( 50 cm zip

-

pers and buttons) so the audiences can detach and

create their own possibility .And my textile I give

seamer certain rules ( they need to sew waste fabric

randomly into 1cm seam to create textile ) and in

business part I hope costomers only buy components

from me not whole garments anymore . I also put con

traditory elements into design make it as a complex

system like chinese 80s mix with eastern and western

methology .
