The transitory state before the Great Connection
_It is a continued exploration of the propensity of understanding nothingness.
From the immaculate, I determine to trace back to the precarious. The allusive state of seeing and not yet seeing. Things that were but are now no longer. Or have they ever been? This incomplete 'formation' is what defines emptiness. A fraction lighter or darker represents the literal of seeing, and the depth of knowing.The fact not knowing what you are seeing becomes unimportant in comparison to peering through layers of the (in)visible. This shift from being tightly controlled to a form of reIease, is a willingness for surprise in the passage of making.
I treasure lithography as the fundamental medium in majority of my works. For its propensity for spontaneousness are traps that are perplexing yet delightful.

I am a printmaker who practises the teachings of Daoism by Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi and Laozi.
My devotion in printmaking lies specifically in the technique of lithography. The sense of transparency in each layer ecalls to me like vapours of dark mysterious mists. As if through stages of metamorphosis, the image slowly emerges. It creates an organic atmosphere of interaction between the artist body and the material.
