MA work
MA work
My practice both humours and pays tribute to man’s visions of Utopia and need for progress.
Drawing from many different sources across modern media, my work is developed from and makes parallels between historical and contemporary issues and events, from global to local. I'm interested in the effects that technology, architecture and communication have on society and the pressure to develop further – constant change and movement towards a vision never totally realised. There’s an ironic twist in that our efforts to strive towards Utopia mean we shall forever remain in constant flux.
