As a filmmaker, I desire to connect with an audience with each new film I make, creating an emotional tie that binds a person to the piece. I am especially interested in doing this by telling stories that portray a spark of bittersweet, universal truth to the viewer. As an animator, I do this with the craft of stop-motion, creating hand-made, tactile worlds which I aim to be physically and emotionally sprawling on screen.
