MA work
MA work
I believe contemporary art revolves around investigation and question. My work interrogates everyday spaces, using personal experience as a starting point, observing how we cope with a vast quantity and quality of information and questioning the ways in which we try to understand and negotiate space. To me, a map can define a question, offering a mode of access and I use mapping and research processes to explore various responses to questions raised. For example - how does technology affect space: the spaces in books and newspapers; new measurements of space - how can _I _create space? The leads from my questions and investigations become the narratives in my work.
After the completion of my MA, I will exhibit, write and continue to create artist books.
