Pick Up The Pieces
Pick up the Pieces is a broken wall filled with voices. The visitor is invited to listen to sonic content captured in rubble. The wall is thus a barrier to open dialogue and information, physically and metaphorically, creating a global murmur through direct engagement with the stories the pieces reveal – individual realities of people suffering from loss of home and place due to war, torture or political prosecution. With this work I address the global crisis of migration, and a shift in societies towards physical isolation and individualism as a barrier to cultural conglomeration.

I am a graphic and experience designer, and sonic activist, based in London and Berlin, with a strong interest in linguistics and cultural diversity. I am specifically interested in emotional intelligence, behaviour, and the role sonic experience plays in communication.
With a background in graphic and editorial design, I have experience in documentary, mixed media, curation and more. My work invites dialogue through interaction and technological investigation.
