Jeanie Ko
MA work
My work is about storytelling through surfaces and images in printed textiles.
Shadow and Light is a collection about my childhood. While Shadow explores fear of the unknown, Light expresses a sense of nostalgia and romance toward the island of Taiwan where I grew up.
Sensitivity to beauty, mood and contrasts are key elements in my designs. By combining a variety of processes such as photography, drawing and mixed materials, I intend to create bespoke textile pieces that transform a space.
