I am Listening
I am Listening is a project about not listening. It explores the difference between hearing and being heard, focusing on interruption, apathy and changes of topic during conversations. Although these are natural parts of dialogue, they can sometimes be hurtful, even with benign intent. As human beings, we play both roles of the speaker and the listener, and the piece aims to slow down the process to focus on dialogue, not one-way transmission of information.
